The first thing is what the heck is the "BADGE" thing ? The second thing (and much more important) when can we members take delivery of the patches we all agreed upon recently ?
Several mentions were made during the last meeting(s) about our chapter participating in other ALR memorial rides. I'm merely wondering when we can all run together as a 'uniform group'.
Bob and I are working on this. I'm getting a lot of questions about getting our group uniform. The patches take 4 weeks. I contacted emblem sales and checked on the rockers and they only take orders for a minimum of 6 each of the same design. That doesn't work for most of the rockers when we could have up to 5 different ones needed. I asked if we could purchase the blank rockers and have have a local embroiderer put on what we needed. They said they could do that. I talked to Cindy of Cindy's Monograms and she said she could do what ever we needed including putting the patches on the vest. Bottom line is the quickest way for us to become uniform is for each member go online and purchase a t-shirt and cover if desired. That would be great for the Freedom Run. I'm not sure what the "BADGE" thing is!!
The badge thing is a way for you to promote this site on other websites that you belong on. If you look at my profile on TheBikerSpot you will see my ALR badge on there.
OP, did you get a vest for your new patches? John had come across 2 vest he picked up at Stonehedge in Utica. One was for $15 and the other was for $45. I don't want them because they are made in China and Pakistan. That is my own personal decision as i will get one from Fox Leather where i purchased my other vest from. It is made in the USA, but it cost a lot more. Farm & Fleet have good prices on vest too.
I just remembered an checked, I've got another vest that's blank so no problem there. I got confirmation that my T-Shirts have been shipped yesterday. They're coming USPS, so it's hard telling when they'll arrive.
